Pravda is a very famous coffee shop and bar in Wellington, it presents a very nice set up and even a statue of Lenin, however – like the Russian joke “there is no Pravda in Novyy and no Novyy in Pravda” (“Novvy” in Russian is “news”), we would say the same about the coffee in Pravda: no news here! The coffee was tasteless, pale and boring. It seems like the bar is the main business for Pravda so you may want to avoid the coffee and come there in case you want to impress someone with grilled food or a nice stylish setup.
