Not to forget the experienced and passionate baristas and awareness amongst avid coffee drinkers about specialty coffee. There are lot of third-wave coffee shops in Dublin which you must check out, some of them are following as well.

Urbanity Coffee

Urbanity is heavily inspired by coffee shops in Scandinavia, London, and New York. The roastery is situated in Smithfield, Dublin 7.  They combine their special coffee with world-class food. They roast 12kg in their café which is kept in bags for their visitors to taste the cup of coffee.

Urbanity focus on seasonality and green beans quality. To offer something new, they look for variations and origins of beans which is hard to find in Dublin. Also, the single-origin beans are supplied from Oslo based coffee supplies with the Nordic approach. Well, they trade with farmers from East Africa, South America, and central mostly. Due to the high demand, they switched to roasting 80 kg coffees weekly instead of 20kg.

Cloud Picker Cafe

Established in 2013, Frank Kavanagh and Peter Sztal introduced Cloud Picker. They also had a café in the Trinity college’s science gallery. Realizing the quality of coffee in depriving day by day. Both depicted to be a part of the change and they started their own coffee roastery. Well, they named their café after a coffee farm in Doi chang in Northern Thailand. They both walked through clouds when they are going to meet the coffee pickers. The Cloud Picker Cafe sources their coffee directly from the origin in order to keep a long-term relationship with farmers as well as the good quality beans. They roast the coffee weekly on their Giesen W15 roasters.

Full Circle Roasters

They started as coffee sippers but turned into a barista and now a roaster. Brian birdy started Full Circle Roasters in 2014, followed by two other cafés as well.  For improving the production flow, roasting, and support, Brain shifted to wholesale in Monaghan. They aimed to provide specialty coffee, machines, and training focus solemnly on quality. Like other roasters, they also have fresh and in-season coffees. Also, they work with the Nordic approach and falcon specialty so they can offer the perfect taste around the world. However, Full circle roasters are not open for the public but the coffee devotees can buy it from Shoe lane, green bench, and Fallon & Byrne.

Love Supreme

Love supreme has a trending shop with exposed bricks walls, glossy black metal tools, and rustic wood counters.  Ceilings are decorated with plants and lights dangle, also the menu is printed on brown paper. It’s easy to recognize what they are offering as everything is written on its black clipboard. Love supreme source their coffee from Sweden’s Koppi Fine coffee roasters.  The café is attractive along with a quality in coffee which makes customers keep coming back. They are multi roasters in coffee, bringing the variation all around the world in your cup.

Joe’s Coffee

Joe source their roast for the espresso drinks. They offer to taste different varieties of tasty notes as well as origins to experts and novices. The café has bright spaces,  furniture with light wood,  colorful mugs, and an industrial vibe.  Joe offers an easygoing place that is perfect for lingering. The menus are limited to salad, sandwiches,  and pastries. Also, they have on tap steaming filtered coffee which makes the perfect option for a quick grab-and-go. Joe’s Coffee was founded in 2003, following the protocol of requiring cupping or tasting samples of hundred coffees in a year. They focus on maintaining the rotation in seasonal coffee beans and to store them with utmost care.
